Directing Support Inc. — Branding, Brochure & Website Design
Building a Cohesive Brand for Directing Support Inc.
A strong brand does more than create recognition. It helps an organisation communicate its purpose, establish credibility and build meaningful connections with the people it serves.
Directing Support Inc., a Canadian organisation working in disability support, approached Pheegoh to develop a cohesive brand identity and digital presence that reflected its mission of assistance, empowerment and community.
The project brought together brand identity development, corporate communication materials and website design, ensuring the organisation could present itself consistently across both print and digital platforms.
Developing a Meaningful Brand Identity
The branding process focused on creating a distinctive visual identity that communicated support, compassion and personal empowerment.
We developed a logo featuring a stylised hand reaching out to support another hand. The concept represents assistance, connection and community, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
The brand palette combines magenta with light green. Magenta introduces energy, compassion and creativity, while light green conveys growth, renewal and well-being.
These elements formed the foundation of a consistent brand guideline, providing direction for how the identity would be applied across the organisation’s communication materials.
Creating Consistent Corporate Materials
To extend the identity beyond the logo, we designed corporate stationery and supporting brand materials, including business cards, letterheads, envelopes and email signatures.
Each item followed the established visual guidelines, helping the organisation maintain a professional and recognisable appearance across its communications.
We also developed a corporate brochure to present the organisation’s services, mission and values in a clear, accessible format.
The brochure was prepared for both print and digital distribution, giving the client a versatile communication resource for sharing information with stakeholders and prospective clients.
Designing a Responsive Corporate Website
The website provided an important digital extension of the new brand identity.
We designed and developed a responsive website that carried the organisation’s visual language into an online experience. The layout was structured to make information easier to navigate while presenting the organisation’s services and mission clearly.
Key website components included service information, team profiles, testimonials and a blog section. These elements gave visitors different ways to understand the organisation, explore its work and engage with its content.
We also implemented a content management system, enabling the client to update and manage website content without requiring every change to be handled by a developer.
Search engine optimisation was incorporated into the website development process to support online discoverability.
Bringing Every Brand Touchpoint Together
A key consideration throughout the project was consistency.
The logo, colour palette, corporate stationery, brochure and website were developed as parts of one connected brand experience rather than separate design pieces.
This helped establish a coherent visual identity across the organisation’s communication channels and provided a more structured foundation for presenting its services and mission.
The Outcome
Pheegoh delivered an integrated branding and digital project for Directing Support Inc., combining brand guideline development, corporate communication materials, brochure design and website development.
The resulting identity gave the organisation a consistent visual foundation, while the website provided a platform for presenting its services, sharing information and managing content.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful branding and practical web development can work together to help a service-based organisation communicate its purpose more effectively.
